A brief review and a little bit of advice for Masturbation Month
This post is a sort of ‘follow up’ to an earlier post of mine: https://philpshepherd.substack.com/p/review-humbuzz-male-masturbator-nsfw?r=6hubpj
May is Masturbation Month, and I suggested a few days ago, that folk on Smutstack ought to celebrate it. Having said so, I feel that I ought to ‘put my money where my mouth is’, hence this post.
My earlier posts on the subject of masturbation concerned the use of a ‘male masturbator’ (basically a TPE ‘sleeve’), and that essential ‘helper’ for masturbation, lubricant.
Wanking with a cold sleeve, however much lube you use, is (probably) reminiscent of fucking a two-day-old corpse (not that I’ve ever tried that, I hasten to add)… Cold and clammy, and not exactly a turn-on. So I recommended heating the masturbator - but being careful not to overheat it (we don’t want Percy Prick getting burned!); I used to dip it in lukewarm water for a couple of minutes to ‘take the chill off’, then dry it off and apply lube.
Recently though, I discovered sex toy heaters… Slim ‘rod-like’ devices, with a heating element, and a cable with a USB plug. Here is one example, from Amazon.
Once you plug them in, they heat up to a quite toasty, but safe, 115°F or 46°C in a few minutes. They take the guesswork out of warming up your toy. Stick it in your chosen toy’s orifice, plug it in to any USB-A charging socket, and wait. I recommend giving the device a good half hour to warm your toy through quite thoroughly - the first time I used it, I only waited until the ‘heating’ light went out (about five minutes); so it only heated the inner surface of the toy - after a couple of minutes of masturbation, the toy felt quite cold on my cock - not very nice. By leaving it in much longer, the heat has time to conduct deeper into the toy’s material, and so it retains its warmth much longer, making for a much more pleasurable sensation.
